Jori Van Der Linder is the illustrator responsible for the reverse of the coin. She included Roman numerals on the outer ring of the coin, representing the timepiece which is a timekeeping instrument without a striking mechanism. Then, the image of the zodiac sign is surrounded by carefully placed 20 Swarovski crystals, adding an additional uniqueness to this set. The inner ring features the glyph and the constellation together with scattered dots which represent the stars in the sky. Thanks to the artistic sense of the designer, the overall look came to be a real eye-catcher! On the obverse, Susanna Blunt added the word “CANADA”, the face value of 5 dollars, the year 2019 and the effigy of Queen Elizabeth II.
