Billy Bishop: A Legendary War Hero

Above the engraving, the word ‘CANADA’ and the year 2019 are depicted.
To the right shoulder of Billy’s colour portrait is the engraving BILLY BISHOP 1894-1956” marking his life from birth to death. The contrast between the two images creates a unique appeal for the coin as it reflects a merger of two technologies.
On the obverse side, the coin depicts a portrait of Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth the Second along with the engravings “20 DOLLARS” and “ELIZABETH II D.G. REGINA” around the circumference.
The coin is made of 99.99% pure silver and is 38mm in diameter and has serrated edges. It is also free from GST and HST. And of course, as will all other productions, Royal Canadian mint provides serial security certificate for this priceless memento.
