Polar Bear: A Symbol Of Strength And Endurance
The giant polar bear inhabits the northern territories of Canada and is mostly seen wandering on the ice-covered Arctic sea. People have the chance to see them during their migration period which begins in October and ends in early November. As for their diet, these animals feed on various kinds of seals and sometimes a walrus or a beluga whale, if they are fortunate enough to catch one. When the ice melts during summer, polar bears are forced to include berries and other food items in their diet onshore while waiting for the colder days when the ice eventually reforms. Due to their cultural and economic importance to Canada, a lot of effort is put into preserving polar bears and saving them from extinction.
