Superman has captured the hearts and minds of fans for over 75 years and his popularity doesn’t seem to be slowing down. 2013 Canada $20 Superman & Metropolis Coin Release
To celebrate Superman’s 75th anniversary, The Royal Canadian Mint, Official Licensee of DC Comics, introduced the 2013 Canada $20 Superman & Metropolis Coin. This coin is a reverse image collector’s item and it marks the first appearance of The Man of Steel on a Royal Canadian Mint coin. The front of the coin shows the likeness of Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II, designed by portrait artist Susanna Blunt.
